Life brings us so many ups and downs. Especially nowadays, with so many intelligent, hardworking people desperately searching for jobs, good people working day and night to save their homes, living with so much fear and stress from protecting yourself and your family from predators, or living everyday in the fear of the reality of this deadly pandemic. It’s so extremely stressful and at these times, when you’re so in need of love, kindness and a helping hand, it’s at this time when you are seeming surrounded by evil, making it easier to trust in the wrong people.
Sometimes it seems like our only salvation is our little furry gifts. When I need to be reminded of the goodness in this world, all I need to do is look at my little Jaxie. Even though there is evil and stress in this world, I refuse to allow fear or stress control my life. When I kiss his little fuzzy face, he reminds me that there is unmeasurable joy, love and happiness that surrounds us. Because of my dog, I see joy and goodness all around me in all of the little things. His unconditional love, opens my eyes everyday to the blessings in my life.
